I would like to post pictures but this blogger is not working.  So I'll keep trying and when it does I'll put some pics on here.

San Diego Vacation

We got to spend an amazing week in San Diego.  We stayed with Donna at her condo on the bay.  It is a beautiful place to be.

The boys on a rescue helcopter on the USS Midway.  We toured it on July 4th.

We went to the beach.  The water is so beautiful.  It is also cold 65, so the boys were the only ones swimming.

Thusday night we went to a Padres game.  Great seats, we got a little chilly.  Crazy to think about in July.

The boys and their Godmom had a shopping spree at Legoland.

Then we went to another beach in La Jolla.  It is just breath taking there.

It was a great vacation.  We are all so thankful to Donna for this great trip.  We could go there again and again.  It is a great place to visit.

Swim is Over

Zane finished his swim season this past Monday.  He is glad it is over.  He did good but he just did not have his heart in it this year.

This is his back stroke, he improved every meet and he got third this time overall.

This is his free style.  He did good improving each meet but he got a fourth this meet.

He did good he got 1st three time in his heat so we were excited for that.  We have all decided he is not a future Olympian, but it has been a good thing for him to do. 

Swim

Zane's swim season has begun and he is swimming 50 meters for every race this year.  His first meet he got 5th in the back stroke and bettered his time in both back and free by 20 seconds.

Yesterday was his second meet.  It was so hot here 101, and Zane still improved.  He got 1st in his back stroke heat and 2nd in his free style heat.  We do not know where he finished up overall yet.  He did so great and we were all proud of him.

This is part of his cheering section.  Thanks to everyone who came out to watch him swim.  He was very glad to have everyone there.

Happy Birthday Zaney

Today is the day 11 years ago that a very funny, smart, handsome, little guy came into our lives and we were never the same.  We thank God everyday for this amazing boy we have.  We are the luckiest parents to have such a great boy in our lives.  Thank you Zaney for making us smile everyday.

He told his Pops he was turning 20 today.  The sad thing for his mommy is I know it will go by fast and he will be 20 before I know it.  Zane we love you more than words can say.  You are a true joy in our lives.
