Spring Break

Well I am a little behind on my posting.  We have had a week pass since the boys spring break.  So let me tell you about all of our fun.

The first day we had a picnic in the sun and then we flew kites.

Dalton's kite is a dragon.  He got a little frustrated that his did not fly as high as brothers.

Zane had a shark kite.  He has so much fun flying his kite.  He was a natural.  He could not wipe the smile off his face.

The next day we went to the Witte Museum.  They had a dinosaur exhibt.  So of course we had to check it out.  We took Madison and Malik with us.

There was a lot of cool things to check out.  I actually Zane might have learned something new. 

They all had a lot of fun.  There was also a mummy exhibit.  It was pretty cool.

Then Wednesday we set out to the river to go camping.  The boys had never been camping and were so excited to go.  We borrowed a trailer from our friends Joel and Mayra.  It made it so much better for mom and dad.  It was not roughing it that is for sure.

We went out with some of our friends.  This is Gage and Dalton the first night at dinner.

Breakfast the next morning. 

The boys and their dogs.  The boys and I went for a walk that morning.  Brian had to go to work that day and caught up to us later that evening.

Playing in the river. Yes, it was very cold but that did not stop the boys.  I only put my toe in.  COLD.

Then it was time to his the river.  There was a tube chute.  The boys had a lot of fun.

Yes still very cold water.  I did not join them on the tubes that day.

The next day Brian got to take the day off and hang out with us.  It was a little cool that morning.  So he took care of Little Boy and kept him warm.

We went rafting that day it was a lot of fun.  There will be more pictures to follow.  Over all we had a wonderful time.  We cannot wait to do it again.

We Have Been Busy

Well we had to make some adjustments to the batting cage. Brian put Dalton to work helping him.

We needed a level batters box.  So now we have one.  Brian put a black rubber mat down on it too.  It is pretty nice and Dalton is hitting well.

Sunday we had practice.  Our team is shaping up real well.

It was not that great of a day.  It was cloudy and a  little rainy, but the show must go on.

Then Daddy put Zane to work too running the bases.  He looks like a natural.  He would take off and not stop running until the got him out.  The big bummer is that he got a very nasty blister because he was wearing no socks and he did not tell us his foot hurt.  What a trooper he is.

This past Tuesday I went to Houston to hang out with Kelli.  We went to the Houston Rodeo, to see Darius Rucker. 

We had a great time and it was fun to hang with an old pal.  Love ya, Kel.

This past weekend we kicked off spring break with a little gathering at our house of some of our friends.

It was a late night with the time change.  We all had a great time.  The men played poker, the kids were in and out, and us ladies were out back enjoying the nice weather.  By the evenings end we were wrapped in blankets it did get a little cool.  Wonderfull time had by all.
