Field Day

Well today was the boy's field day.  It was Survivor style.  We had an awesome day.  Each class competed against other classes from their grade level.

Zane's class was the sole survivor for third grade.

Dalton's class only one the first event, but he had a great day, lots of fun.

We had an awesome day.  They got to have pizza, nachos, candy and drinks.  We had the final tribal counsel.  We are tired after that big day and the weekend has just started.

Vegas

I went to Vegas a couple of weekends ago.  I went with Donna, Celi, and Donna's neighbor Paula.  We had a lot of fun.

We went to see the Jersey Boys.  It was a great show.  Thanks godmom for such a great time.

I have to brag!!

The boys found out scores from their TASK Test.  This is the standardized test that they take and if you don't pass you don't move on.  Lots of pressure for such little people.  Well the Woody boys handled the pressure well.  Dalton had to take 3 test writing, reading and math.  He passed writing and reading.  He was commended in math, which means he missed 2 or less.  We have not seen their actual scores so we don't know how many they missed.  Great job Dalton!!!  Then Zane had to take 2 test reading and math.  Zane passed math we were excited, he hates math.  He got commended in reading.  Awesome job Zane!!!  So it looks like we will be moving on to 4th and 5th grade, yes I said 4th and 5th.  YIKES!  They are getting big.  Dalton went yesterday to tour his new school for next year.  He was most excited about the snack bar go figure.

Zane was getting ready for swim try outs and I wanted him to have some pool time before he had to try out.  So I took him to the Ambrose pool.

Well he was ready for try outs but they were not ready for him.  There were issues with the city pool so he tried out a week late after the pool got fixed.  He did wonderful.  So now we start practice.  Great job Zaney!!!

Dalton's Field Trip

I got to go on Dalton's field trip with him.  We went to the Texas Heritage Museum.  It was very interesting and we had a great day together.

Mother's Day

We went to brunch with the Godparents and Godsis Suz.  We had a very good time and great food.

When mom and dad come to town all of our friends want to see them, oh and of course they want mom to cook.  Everyone loves her cooking.  So we had everyone over for some good food and fun.
