Week in Review

Monday was no school so the boys played a lot that day with their buddies. It was really warm here, probably almost 80.

The neighbor boys,(young men) came out and played with them all too. We are lucky we have such great neighbors.






We had a basketball game Tuesday. The boys are the Rockets this year. Going into the game we had played 3 games and lost 3 games. Dalton strapped on his lucky headband and with that and some of his and Zane's tuff defense they won their first game.

Thursday the boys brought home grade cards. Dalton had all A's and Zaney had all B's we are very proud of them both. They are better students than either Brian or I.

Friday night I realized we are raising great little men. We were watching the telethon for Haiti. They both wanted to donate their money that they had earned for the week. So they gave there $10 each to the cause. We must be doing something right.

Saturday brought more basketball. So we were putting our 1 - 3 record on the line. The team we were playing was a good team and we knew it would be a challenge.



The Rockets were up for the challenge.




We won 19 to 16. It was a great game. Oh, and yes Dalton was wearing the lucky headband. We do not play again until Saturday.

Chris and Wendy came to the game, we went to lunch and a movie with them. It was fun to hang out with them we do not get to see them as much now that football is over.

The Skinny on What's up with Us

We have a new member of our family. His name is Titan. We got him at the end of last year.

He is doing well and Max is adjusting to him. They do good with each other. This is their first meeting.


Our weekend was a fun but busy one. We played basketball Saturday, still no wins but we play Tuesday so I am sure we can pull out a win.

Then that night we went to the Monster Jam.


We went with the Ambrose Family.

It was a good show, we were kind of disappointed with the free style. They did not do enough tricks for our taste. We still had a good time.


Sunday was Malik's Birthday party. They had this thing called game box come to their house. It was a trailer with many game systems inside with 4 TVs it help up to 20 game players. It was climate controlled.

They had a lot of fun with that. Happy Birthday Malik.

After the party the boys had a few buddies come over. We sat up the tent in the back yard and let them sleep out there. It was a little chilly out last night, but we put a bunch of blankets and oh a TV for movie watching. They had a blast out there.



No school today so it worked out perfectly.
