Rough Baseball Weekend

Dalton's 13U team played this weekend in Austin in a tournament.  The first game he pitched.  He did a great job.  His defense did not help him out much and we lost.

He also took one on the chin while pitching.  The ball hit the temporary mound and hit him right in the chin.  Him being the tough guy that he is he picked up the ball and still got the out.

Then he had another game that day and played at shortstop.  He did good there, but he was sore.

So this is how it looked Sunday evening.  It was a rough weekend all around.  We did not get any wins and he is pretty banged up.

Spring Break 2012

We had a great spring break.  It was relaxing and we had warm weather but not too much sun.  We went to Six Flags one day.  We love to ride roller coasters so we had lots of thrills there.

Wednesday we went fishing at the river.  Zane found this rock and was pirched there for awhile.

Diego and Dalton just played around more than they fished.

Then we went to the lake for a short trip.  Dalton and Diego were up for more fishing.

Zane gave it a try too.  None of the boys caught anything either day.

However the mommies did catch a fish.  Mary and I both caught a fish.  The kids were impressed with us.  We decided it was our reward for putting up these crazy kids and the fishing.

Dalton helped me throw mine back.

Great week but now back to reality.
